Ugh.
Last week, Amazon removed several yaoi manga titles from their Kindle store. Effected publishers Digital Manga Publishing, Yaoi Press, and Animate USA (which releases exclusively to the Kindle) haven’t been told much but it appears Amazon is enforcing content guidelines. The yaoi genre is often called boys’ love because it features gay romance generally targeted to a female readership. Other material far racier than the deleted material is still available on the Kindle. Some yaoi manga titles have since been restored while others have not. Robot 6 has the story here and an update in the link above.
